- When in the exhibit rooms, visitors are asked to please refrain from:
- bringing in food and drinks;
- smoking;
- touching the exhibits;
- causing disturbances.
- Visitors will be held financially responsible for any material damage caused by them during their visit to the Gdynia Aquarium.
- In order to maintain safety, Gdynia Aquarium reserves the right to limit the number of visitors in the building.
- In the event of an emergency, visitors are requested to follow the instructions of Gdynia Aquarium personnel.
A few more comments and some advice for visitors:
The Gdynia Aquarium does not have guides since written descriptions accompany all the exhibits. This allows visitors to view the exhibits at their own pace.
- Organized groups are invited to participate in educational classes in marine biology. Reservations must be made two weeks in advance. Classes are provided for a fee.
- During the summer, the Gdynia Aquarium is open from 09:00 to 20:00. To avoid crowds, you are advised to plan your visit in the afternoons after 16:00. Earlier in the day there are sure to be lines for the ticket office and at the entrance.
- The Gdynia Aquarium is disabled accessible with wheelchair ramps, elevators, and accessible restrooms.
- Flash photography is not permitted in rooms that house live animals.
- The ticket office accepts major credit cards, and VAT invoices are available on request.
- There are several gift shops at the Gdynia Aquarium that offer a wide variety of souvenirs.
