About the Gdynia Aquarium
The Gdynia Aquarium is a unique place in the center of the city where you can see for yourself extraordinary species of fish, amphibians, and reptiles from all over the world, including Africa, South America, and the northern reaches of Europe.
In addition to these exhibits, the Gdynia Aquarium's Marine Education Section invites anybody interested in marine biology, but especially young people, to experience and participate in its rich educational program. Our classrooms provide opportunities to learn through experience as participants take part in unconventional lessons led by experts in oceanography, biology, and environmental protection.
The unusual location of the Aquarium and its spacious building also provide ample space for organizing exhibitions in the Gallery or other events for the youngest of enthusiasts, such as Christmas parties or activities during school vacations. The Gdynia Aquarium extends a warm welcome year round to all visitors!
