BalticMuseums 2.0
The BalticMuseums 2.0 program is a consortium of six partners:
- University of Applied Sciences, Stralsund, Germany - project leader

- German Oceanographic Museum, Germany - www.meeresmuseum.de;
- University of Szczecin, Poland - www.us.szc.pl;
- Museum of the World Ocean, Kaliningrad, Russia - www.vitiaz.ru.
The task of the consortium is to work together to develop innovative technical tools for disseminating information and communicating in aquariums and oceanographic museums.
A joint, multilingual, online platform is being developed as part of the project, as is a ticket sales system. This aims of these measures are to render these institutions more attractive to visitors, especially to international tourists.
Additionally, this project presents unique opportunities to promote economic growth in the regions where these institutions are located. More information can be found at the project website at: www.balticmuseums.org.
