BalticMuseums 2.0

The BalticMuseums 2.0 program is a consortium of six partners:

- University of Applied Sciences, Stralsund, Germany - project leader - www.fh-stralsund.de;
- German Oceanographic Museum, Germany - www.meeresmuseum.de;
- University of Szczecin, Poland - www.us.szc.pl;
- The Gdynia Aquarium, Poland - www.akwarium.gdynia.pl;
- Lithuanian Sea Museum, Lithuania - www.juru.muziejus.lt;
- Museum of the World Ocean, Kaliningrad, Russia - www.vitiaz.ru.

The task of the consortium is to work together to develop innovative technical tools for disseminating information and communicating in aquariums and oceanographic museums.

A joint, multilingual, online platform is being developed as part of the project, as is a ticket sales system. This aims of these measures are to render these institutions more attractive to visitors, especially to international tourists.
